Mrs. Bernice Mobley Ouimette

ALBANY - "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations" Mrs. Bernice Mobley Ouimette was taken home to be with her Lord, Monday, November 23, 2015, in Florence, SC. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 28th at Crown Hill Mausoleum Chapel, 1907 Dawson Road, Albany, Georgia 31707. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors, 1503 Dawson Road, Albany GA 31707. Bernice was born on September 13, 1920 in Bainbridge, GA. Married to Armand E. Ouimette on July 4th , 1944. With the family she lived in Decatur, GA and Sharon, MA before moving to Albany, GA for most of her life. She also lived in Winston-Salem, NC and spent the last part of her life in Florence, SC where she was a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Bernice was a prayer warrior. Whenever any family member had an issue, we gave our prayer request to her. She always pointed us in the right direction, towards Jesus Christ, our Savior. She never forgot any family member's birthday - from the oldest to the youngest everyone received a card from her on their birthday. Bernice was a blessing to all who knew her or came in contact with her, whether it was her doctor, an aide or the maintenance person filling her bird feeder with bird seed. She touched everyone's life with her love and caring. Bernice was preceded by her husband, Armand Edward Ouimette, her mother, Nell Mobley, her father, Jerry Edward Mobley, and her sister Valeria Mobley Hughes and her niece Sara Hughes Shirley. She is now rejoicing with them in heaven. Survivors include her daughter Andre' Ouimette Whitney, and husband Bob Whitney, Florence, SC, son Reverend Ed Ouimette and wife Peggy Ward Ouimette, Kingstree, SC, daughter, Martha Ouimette Robertson, and husband, Paul Robertson, Griffin, GA, daughter Jan Ouimette Quilty and husband Robert Quilty, Coral Springs, FL, daughter Kate Ouimette Wedell and husband Eric Wedell, Palmdale, CA, sister Mary Nell McElmurray, Augusta, GA, brother, Rev. Dr. Perry Mobley and his wife Jeane Mobley, Winston-Salem, NC, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. All loved her very much and loved by her!
