Mr. John Richard “Rick” Neal, 67, of Albany died Thursday June 16, 2022 at his residence. His memorial service will be held Tuesday June 21, 2022 11:00AM at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Josh Duckworth will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of Lester Neal and Emily Green Neal. Mr. Neal moved to Albany in 2002 moving from Augusta. He worked with ARC in Terrell County. Mr. Neal was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist men. He was also a member of Sons of Confederate Veteran’s. Survivors include Cindy Meadow Neal of Albany; two children Connor Richard Neal of Albany; Justi Shallus Neal of Albany; two brothers Gene Neal and his wife Jane of Augusta; Lenson Neal and his wife Linda of Augusta; several nieces and nephews.
