Mrs. Gracie (Grace) Lee Maloy Barrett, 98, of Leesburg died Tuesday Jan 28, 2014 at her residence. Funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00AM at Kinchafoonee Baptist Church with interment to follow at Rehoboth Cemetery in Randolph County. Rev. Melvin Slappey will be officiating. Born in LaGrange, GA, Mrs. Barrett was the beginning of five generations and this was the end with only four left. She had retired from Flint River Textiles after serving 25 years. Mrs. Barrett attended Kinchafoonee Baptist Church and loved Gardening and Quilt Making. She was preceded in death by her mother Alice Scott Maloy; father Robert Edward Maloy; Husband Hoke Smith Barrett; daughter Joyce Marie Barrett; son Robert Edward Barrett; grandson Claude Aldine (Dean) Hammock; great great grandson Brantley Harper; sisters Lois White, Vadis Bolt, Nora Wallace, Carrie Nasworthy, Lovina Eltenwood; Brother Ernest Wallace.
