Antonio "Tino" Adalberto Ortiz

Antonio Adalberto Ortiz, better known as Tino, a one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on November 23, 2024, in a car accident. Tino touched countless lives with his love, humor, and kind-hearted spirit. He will be remembered as "Forever 23" by those who loved him most. Tino was known for his many passions, especially his love for cars and working on vehicles. He found joy in the outdoors, whether kayaking, spending time at the river, or creating lasting memories with family and friends. Tino wasn’t just a family member or friend — to many, including his siblings and cousins, he was their “best friend.” His dog, Thor, was his “baby” and constant companion — truly “his world.” Tino especially adored his nieces and was eagerly awaiting the chance to meet his newest nephew. He also loved watching football every weekend and making bets with friends and family, which brought laughter and connection to game days. “There was nothing in this world that Tino loved more than his family.” Tino’s determination was reflected in one of his proudest accomplishments: earning his GED and receiving his diploma in Auto Mechanics. These milestones symbolized his drive and passion for life. He will forever be remembered for his fierce love, genuine kindness, and ability to light up a room with his humor and quick wit. Tino loved to make people laugh with his “witty” or “goofy” remarks, and he was always quick with a "savage joke" that brought smiles to those around him. Many have shared that their favorite sound was Tino’s affectionate laughter, a sound that could brighten anyone’s day. Though small in stature, Tino had a spirit larger than life. He was a caring listener, deeply thoughtful, and known for his ability to pick up on emotions and make people feel seen. His sense of style was impeccable — he loved looking “fly” and had a particular affection for his slides. Many have said that “when he got dressed, he got DRESSED,” always stepping out with confidence and iconic style. Tino is survived by his loving parents, Albert and Linda Ortiz of Albany, Georgia; his siblings: Jazmine Tsoi (Huen) of Valdosta, Georgia; Kristie Rudolph (Marc) of Alachua, Florida; Matthew Lhamon (Alexis) of Lee County, Georgia; Manuel Ortiz (Megan) of Albany, Georgia; Destiny Taylor-Ortiz of Albany, Georgia; Christian Taylor-Ortiz of Lee County, Georgia; Ashton Taylor-Ortiz of Worth County, Georgia; Albert Jr. Ortiz; Madeline Ortiz; Miguel Ortiz; Kayla Berteotti; Natalia Amante; Brianna Leonard; Madison Leonard; and 18 loving nieces and nephews. Tino’s life, though far too short, was filled with immense love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who love him. Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2024, at Kimbrell & Stern (1503 Dawson Rd, Albany, GA 31707) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Grace City Church (294 Oakland Pkwy, Leesburg, GA 31763), followed by a graveside ceremony at Crown Hill Cemetery (1907 Dawson Rd, Albany, GA 31707).
