Mrs. Ann Hutchinson Burson, 89, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Wynfield Park. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Kimbrell-Stern at 3:00 PM. Visitation will start at 2:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place Monday, July 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Martin “Marty” C. Burson will officiate. worked for Allstate Insurance for 15 years before moving to Ranburne, Alabama. She moved to Leesburg, Ga in 2003 shortly a-er the death of her husband, Leon. She was of the Chris/an Faith and was ac/ve in Church all of her life. She would spend hours sharing her faith anyone who would listen. Mrs. Burson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family and her favorite pas/me was spending /me with them. She enjoyed watching sports and was always ready to cheer on Georgia Tech. Next to her family and Jesus, she loved animals the most. She was never without a dog or two and some/mes as many as 10 with several cats thrown in for good measure. She enjoyed dancing from a young age and she and Leon were members of several Square Dance Troops in the 70’s & 80’s. She will be missed by all who knew and Born October 6, 1926 in West Palm Beach, Fla. She spent the majority of her life in the Atlanta area She worked for Allstate Insurance for 15 years before moving to Ranburne, Alabama. She loved her family and her favorite pastime was spending time with them. She enjoyed watching sports and was always ready to cheer on Georgia Tech. Survivors include two sons, Marty Burson and his wife, Lynn, of Leesburg, GA and Sammy Burson of Carrollton, GA, a daughter, Gwen Warmels of Big Canoe, GA, two sisters, Betty Olsen of Tampa, FL and Joyce Gothard of Richmond, VA, five grandchildren, Bob Brown, Carrie Milam, Wendy Northrop, Corey Burson and Kimberly McGatha, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Burson a daughter, Peggy Walker and a brother, H. B. Hutchinson.
