Markland Andrew Aultman

Markland Andrew Aultman, 44, of Dallas, TX, formerly of Albany, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024. His memorial service will be at 4 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Kimbrell-Stern. There will be a Celebration of Markland’s life following the service at the Shackelford House, 1801 Dawson Road, Albany, GA 31707. Markland was born in Albany and attended Terrell Academy with the Class of 1999. He graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2018. Markland was a member of First Methodist Church in Albany. He was an avid golfer and played on Southwest Junior Golf Tour and Terrell Academy Golf Team. His greatest love was hunting. From an early age, he went on many hunting trips with his Dad, Uncle Will, and many friends. Being out in the woods was his favorite place and the hunting camp was filled with classmates and friends from many places. Friends have remarked that he had a God given ability to counsel and offer heartfelt help to those who were suffering and in need. He had a heart of gold, the one who made everyone laugh, and his ever-present smile and love for others was unmatched. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles L. “Lindy” Markland, Nancy Long Markland, Andrew James “Bo” Aultman, and Ina Ruth “Doof” Aultman, uncle, Dr. William Andrew Aultman.
