Mr. Charlie (Bennie) White Obituary

Mr. Charlie (Bennie) White, 66, of 176 Park Place in Worth Co. died December 17, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10 AM at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Brian Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill with military honors. A native of Norman Park, GA Mr. White has lived most of his life in the Albany/Worth Co. area where he was a member of First Baptist Church of Acree and was employed in the construction industry, working many years with Williams Brothers Construction, Suitt Co., Georgia Electric Company and most recent with Hopkins Heating and Cooling. He was also a former local business owner of W & W Game Room. Mr. White served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He loved to fish and was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Georgette D. White of Albany, his children, Tina Marie Moore and her husband Steve of Worth Co., Jennifer Lee Vinavong of Worth Co., Krystal L. Gunter and her husband Chad of Albany and Charles David White of Turner Co., GA, grandchildren, Kevin Moore, Amanda Moore, Michael Hunzicker and his wife Elissa, Keith, Kyle and Cameron Moore, Danielle, Brandon, China and Melanie Vinavong, Elizabeth Gunter, Kirstyn Griffin, Devin J. Gunter, Blythe Gunter, Logan and Katelyn White, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, George White and his wife Sandra of Bristol, FL, Donald Eugene White and his wife Deborah of Sylvester, GA, Cecil White and his wife Edna of Webster, FL, Clarence White and his wife Phyllis of Dawson, GA, Norman Elvin White and his wife Barbara of Fitzgerald, GA and Roger dale White and his wife Kathy of Worth Co., sisters, Margaret Sporner and her husband Pat of Worth Co., Katherine Stanaland of Norman Park, GA, Gloria Morse and her husband Rickey of Norman Park, GA and Lynn Anglin of Worth Co. Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Edward White and Mary Etta Howard White and 2 sisters and 3 brothers, Stella Newsome, Betty Hunter, Roy White, Ted White and Anthony White.
